Here are a few frequently asked questions other travelers have had in the past which we think may help you.

Your driver-guide meets you at your hotel or the airport each day, plans the most scenic routes, arranges photo stops and lunch, and handles parking, timings and reservations.

For 1–2 guests we typically use a Mercedes S-Class or E-Class; for 2–6 guests, a Mercedes V-Class (luxury MPV). For larger families and small groups, we operate executive Mercedes Sprinter mini-coaches. All vehicles are modern, air-conditioned and fully insured.

Completely. We design every day around your interests—food & whiskey, golf, ancestry research, coastal hikes, photography, or kid-friendly adventures. Tell us your “must-see” list and we’ll craft the rest.

Yes. We tour seamlessly across both. The Republic uses the Euro (€); Northern Ireland uses Pound Sterling (£). There are no routine border checks and we handle route planning and timings.

Private vehicle and driver-guide, fuel, tolls, parking, bottled water, and customised day-by-day planning. Hotels, meals, entrance fees and gratuities are typically included in your quote.

As a guide:

  • V-Class: 6 large suitcases + carry-ons
  • Sprinter: 10–12 large suitcases

If you have golf bags, strollers or extra kit, tell us—we’ll size the vehicle accordingly.

May–September offers long evenings and lively festivals. March–April and October are quieter with good value and fewer crowds. November–February brings cosy firesides, availability and great food—expect shorter daylight and changeable weather year-round.

Yes—this is a big part of our value. From Michelin-star tables to farmhouse lunches, distillery tours, private boat trips at the Cliffs of Moher, falconry at a castle, or early-access museum entries—we’ll line it all up.

Tipping is discretionary. If you’ve had a great experience, guests often tip 10–15% of the touring day rate. We’re grateful—but never expectant.

Tell us what you need—step stools, extra time at stops, ground-floor rooms, wheelchair-friendly routes—and we’ll plan accordingly. Many sites offer accessible paths and courtesy vehicles; we’ll arrange assistance in advance.

No—Irish regulations and our insurance prohibit smoking or vaping in vehicles. We plan regular comfort stops.

Yes. We operate fully licensed SPSV/PSV vehicles with commercial insurance and compliant maintenance schedules. Copies of certificates are available on request.
